Despite his young age, Octavi Serra has been working in the field of urban art, design, and photography for many years, offering, through his artworks, an intriguing interpretation of modern society. Through images and conceptual installations, the Catalan artist ironically depicts the problems, frustrations, and contradictions of contemporary life, touching on themes such as media, the relationship with technology, and the environment.
His approach to urban art is conceptual, resulting in artistic installations that may be ephemeral, but the reflections they inspire in the viewer through the subversion of the ordinary – these, on the other hand, leave a lasting impression.
