After establishing himself in publishing illustration and the comic book world, Dimitris Trimintzios, better known as Taxis, began to showcase his works on the streets in the early 2000s. He spread handmade posters marked by a style reminiscent of etching. Gradually, he adapted this visual language to murals, developing an unmistakable signature that leverages the distinctive etching lines for a personal stylistic mark.
These murals speak directly to the constant challenge we face every day, pushed by society to overcome our limits. Through his art, Taxis prompts us towards an internal dialogue that becomes richer or deeper following the flow of our individual interpretations.
