Cinta Vidal Agulló è un’artista e illustratrice spagnola che vive a Barcellona, conosciuta per le sue pitture ad acrilico, attraverso le quali crea strutture architettoniche che sfidano la gravità e moltiplicano i punti di vista. In ogni lavoro Cinta indaga il modo in cui la singola prospettiva varia in relazione all’ambiente circostante.

Cinta Vidal Agulló, attraverso la sua arte, sfrutta il potere che abbiamo come individui di plasmare il mondo che ci circonda per capire e comprendere gli altri, e, allo stesso tempo, usa questa capacità come modo per affrontare la vita stessa. L’intersezione dei piani prospettici è ispirata all’Op Art e alle opere surrealiste di M. C. Escher.

Each of Cinta’s works delves into the notions of how the perspective of an individual may not be, as it seems with its surrounding environments.Cinta Vidal Agulló views her art from a stance of harnessing the power that we have as individuals, to shape the world around us, having to understand and comprehend the inhabitants that we live amongst and yet, at the same time, having the ability to traverse through life itself. The transecting platforms on her works are resonant of the Op Art, surrealist works of M.C. Escher, where unaware characters and actions are found on every angle of her paintings.
