L’anima di Civitacampomarano sorride al futuro

Le nostre radici si dissetano di scorci, profumi, ricordi, angoli di città e di campagna. La memoria riaffiora quando osserviamo un dettaglio, una scintilla che ci fa tornare indietro nel tempo. Un conforto materno, ricordare le esperienze legate a momenti andati. Nelle viuzze di Civitacampomarano hanno camminato generazioni su generazioni, hanno sostato sugli usci delle porte per chiacchierare, si sono sedute su sedie di legno e vimini per trovare ristoro nelle estati calde. Un cammino che sembrava destinato a interrompersi, ma qui l’arte ha ridato una vita, una luce. Potente, colorata, contagiosa.

Ecco perché Civitacampomarano non è solo un paesino di trecento abitanti arroccato, ma è anche il sorriso di una bambina, Emma, che su queste strade sta imparando a mettere un passo avanti a un altro. È lei, infatti, che abbraccia il popolo, il suo vestito è il suo luogo d’origine e lo porterà sempre con sé, nella sua anima. Qui, dove si intrecciano rughe e capelli canuti, c’è anche la radiosità di chi sta crescendo. E che guarda al futuro con un sorriso timido, ma genuino.

The soul of Civitacampomarano smiles to the future

We have our roots into glimpses, smells, memories, corners of the city and countryside. The memory resurfaces when we observe a detail, a spark that makes us go back in time. A maternal comfort, remembering experiences linked to past moments. In the alleys of Civitacampomarano they walked generations after generations, they stopped at the doors to chat, they sat on wooden chairs to find refreshment in hot summers. A walking that seemed destined to stop, but here art has given back a life, a light. Powerful, colorful, contagious.

This is why Civitacampomarano is not only a small village of three hundred inhabitants, but it is also the smile of a little girl, Emma, who on these streets is learning to put one step ahead of another. She embraces the people, her dress is her place of origin and she will always carry it with her, in her soul. Here, where wrinkles and gray hair intertwine, there is also the radiance of those who are growing up. And that she looks to the future with a shy but genuine smile.
