Nespoon – Cvtà Street Fest 2020

Dopo il Festival del 2017, l’arte dei merletti di Nespoon torna a Civita. Questa volta a creare l’opera sono state le sapienti mani delle donne del paese, esperte di quest’arte casalinga e tipicamente femminile, che in Molise ha radici antichissime.

Non è stato difficile per l’artista polacca, che definisce universale il codice estetico dei merletti, dare indicazioni a distanza.

Così nella parte alta del borgo è stato installato un labirinto aereo e sospeso, spettacolare e delicato di pizzi, corde ed elastici. Partecipare alla composizione dell’opera, sotto lo sguardo fiero delle signore, vere artefici delle trame e intermediarie dell’idea dell’artista, rende consapevoli della transitorietà del lavoro artistico.

Una ragnatela di emozioni diventa un monumento effimero.

Tradizione e contemporaneità si legano in una rete spazio-temporale per un incontro collettivo e di evasione, in Molise come in un Paese dell’ex Unione Sovietica.

L’opera è un omaggio a Crisis, da poco scomparsa, abilissima nell’arte del ricamo, con la quale Nespoon aveva avuto il piacere di confrontarsi.

Forte è il legame identitario con una tradizione antica: Civita, il Festival e gli abitanti sono prova della possibile integrazione.

After the 2017 Festival, laces art by Polish artist Nespoon comes back to Civita. This time the work has been created to the skillful hands of the women of the village, expert on this typically feminine homemade art, that it has in Molise ancient roots.

It was not difficult for the Polish artist, who defines the lace as a universal aesthetic code, to give remote indications.

In that way, in the upper side of the village a spectacular and delicate aerial maze, consisting of laces, ropes and elastics has been set up. Taking part in the composition, under the proud gaze of the ladies, true creators of the plots and intermediaries of the artist’s idea, makes us aware of how transitory the artistic work is.

Emotions cobweb becomes an ephemeral monument.

Tradition and contemporaneity are linked in a temporal and geographical network for a collective and escape meeting, in Molise as in a country of the Ex-Soviet Union.

The work is a tribute to Crisis, recently passed away, she was very skilled in the art of embroidery, with whom Nespoon had the pleasure of confronting.

Identitary connection is strong and linked with an ancient tradition: Civita, the Festival and inhabitans are proof of the possibility of the integration.
