Stand up Cvtà!

Se naturale è sembrato tessere la ragnatela di merletti di Nespoon, l’opera più concettuale di Albenero è diventata un momento di confronto e di scambio tra gli abitanti, indecisi su dove e come installarla.

Il lodigiano Alberonero – street artist e autore di opere effimere impresse nel paesaggio come cicatrici – non ha inviato per l’edizione a distanza un progetto definito, ma una suggestione:

voleva infatti che i civitesi affermassero attraverso la biancheria stesa la loro presenza. Uno stendardo di resistenza che in paese è stato interpretato in molteplici modi.

In primo luogo le lenzuola dipinte con sfumature di colori sono state installate nella parte nuova del borgo, ben visibili. Tuttavia hanno suscitato il dibattito in paese – c’è chi scherzando ha chiesto se si trattasse delle lenzuola macchiate della prima notte di nozze, secondo l’uso antico di dare prova della verginità della sposa – ma soprattutto pareri discordanti. Le signore hanno interpretato la richiesta dell’artista come un abbellimento delle proprie finestre, come un Corpus Domini rivisitato. Abbellire per la festa, ma poi? In definitiva, dovendo riappropriarsi dei fili per stendere, la collettività ha cercato dei luoghi più significativi, dove lasciare un simbolo permanente e colorato della loro appartenenza.

Firstly they installed bedsheets painted with color tones in the new side of the village, clearly visibles. However there has been debate – someone joking asked if they were dirty sheets about the first wedding night, according to the use of the older time to give proof of the bride verginity – but above all different opinions. The request of the artist have been understood from the ladies as a decoration of their windows, as a new Corpus Domini. Beautifying for the festival, and then? After all inhabitans needed to get back their clotheslines, so people have found major place where keep permanent and colorful symbol of their belonging.
